The Kardashians are just a normal family that are on TV. It's not their fault that people enjoy their lives. The show is just a simple 'sitcom' show. I don't see why people are all upset over it. Not to take anything away from Mad Men. That show is great too, but I do feel if they were on HBO or a network channel they would have more viewers.
I actually get angry at family members when I see them watching crap like Keeping up with the Kardashians and Real Housewives of slut county. It's not even like I'm watching PBS 24/7, I watch a fair amount of stupid trashy shows, but what the people on Bravo and E's reality shows are just the worst kind of people.

I blame MTV's The Real World, which I think was around long before Survivor. But more importantly, I blame the people who watch those reality shows.
