Wow, that's a pretty pathetic way to go through life. We admire Olympic champions because they are able to focus all of their energies in a very precise way and do amazing things we can only imagine. If all of the people who didn't win gold just slacked off, it would make the gold look trivial - it wouldn't mean anything. Now if the only point is to train for the Olympics - if the sport has no meaning in your culture other than in the Olympics, then it is a little perverse.

GlitchEnzo. That's why it's called the Olympics GAMES. Not Olympics SPORTS..It is a game, not necessary a sports event.
