The point of the movie is to illicit a reaction from the other people in it. It's a satire to point out the flaws in society in a fun way. Keep it in there. People might laugh, but at least they will see the deeper problem if he has them on his side by the end.

I'm sure the gay community is used to things "blowing up" in their faces. Had to.

If you wanna see flaws in a society you can turn on the news right now and watch Texas police harassing and arresting people in a gay bar.

How about the right to visit your lover in the hospital as they're on their death bed? Don't you think that's a right that all people should have? Whether you believe in gay marriage or not, you can't deny that the right to visit a dying loved one is being denied from gay people. If two adults say that they're lovers and wish to be together as one of them is dying, are you really saying that they shouldn't be allowed to?Do I have any proof that there are physical assaults against gay people in America? Actual gay people are excited about Br?no and don't want to see the movie cut. They actually realize that Br?no is on *their* side when it comes to the satire. It's bureaucrats like GLAAD and self-important celebrities like Dick Day who are causing all the commotion. Unfortunately it's them who are being heard on the media, not the "real" American gays who can't wait to see the movie.GLAAD also went after Kevin Smith for Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, because they have no sense of humor.
