The whole idea of this makes me sick because it will convert the ISPs into tiered cable providers. I feel it is a violation of net neutrality because these companies are still limiting connection to these sites only to themselves, they are just using a third party proxy to do it. It does not matter who asked who as the effect is the same on the network and should the ISPs should be banned from paying for such a service. I would not be surprised if this was a plan they hatched with these site to bypass the FCC rulings. I do not want to pay for content I do not want on what I mean to use an a communication interface. I will vote to stop it. I want the right to opt out of it or for the whole concept to be banned as anti-competitive. There is no way smaller ISPs will ever be able to compete and because these companies often have secondary relationships with these content providers it is an opening to illegal back door deals. What really makes me sick is that we have more sensible low cost alternatives developing but this model would kill it at the expense of everyone. I am tired of their unending greed. Fair prices for a good products. Control like this leads to nothing but the same old bigger and worse crap we have with cable today.
Absolute rubbish. I already pay more than I should for cable TV because of ESPN's huge fees to cable providers. And I never, ever watch their channels. f**k ESPN.

Isn't this a violation of net neutrality in reverse? Anyone want to bet on how long before the feds lay some smackdown?
