Well he sure as hell did really well for the Dodgers....so as a Dodger fan I could care less about what he did with the Red Sox as long as he continues to make effort on his new team. (assuming they resign him)
If it's an NL team you'll probably be right, but Francisco Rodriguez is going to be the biggest free agent land mine of 2009. Sure he busted the Saves record, but upon further inspection his mound skills are deteriorating. He's throwing the ball slower, he's missing more of the plate and it's not even generating him more swinging strikes to help offset all the free bases he's passing out that he didn't before.That's not what long term blockbusters are supposed to be made out of, and he'll probably be getting upwards of $13 million a year by a team that doesn't know any better.

I agree. Every year Theo was there he'd try to trade Manny because he didn't like the contract. I think it was a bargain.
