i use to love EA when they turned out good games now they just turn out part 2, 3, 4,~78,79,80...of the same old sh!t.

It's all about what you like. If you like tactical shooters, then you think GOW is great because it's done so well. I'm not a fan of shooters, so I see all these reviews and I think, geez this game seems overrated. But if you love the genre, you'll love the game. It's like when Tecmo Bowl came out and non-sports fans had no idea how much of an innovation it was to arcade football, but sports fans "got it" and it's often considered the best sports game of all time. Now all we get is EA making Madden year after year.

well one thing i haven't seen anyone realize in their posts is yes, ea comes out with expansion packs (including rehashed yearly sports titles) but aren't they priced 10-20 dollars cheaper than every other game since they pretty much know there's nothing innovative about it?? and guess what..people are still buying them at that price sweetspot which in turn has ea making more half-assed sequels for them to eat up...it's our fault really.. keep boycotting if you dare.

But for games that you don't like, that's not because of the team or designer, that's the fault of the EA brand and logo itself.It would make more sense if you said something like, "I like Group A and B within EA but not Groups C and D". Or, "EA is a big company, and the quality of the output really varies".You guys assign these made up personalities to companies that are just completely irrational.

Why would EA even find it necessary to comment on another companies game?Why does EA only sucks sony's c**k? Gears of war is the best looking game I have ever played and the online multiplayer is much more fun than I expected. EA (just like sony) abuses their popularity by bad mouthing other companies and slacking on game production cause they own the majority of the gaming population and have no need to improve anything. Companies like EA and sony considerably slow down the improvement/in ovation of games due to their lack of competition created by all their blind fanboys. Its pathetic......I'm just sayin

@enforcerpsuThe opinion that the game has a weak storyline? I love GoW but it is a smooth game that gets the gameplay and the visuals done right. But if you want to nitpick on opinions I find the enemy designs to be mediocre, the storyline subpar, the gameplay repetative, and the multiplayer lame. And I enjoyed the game and beat it rather quickly on hardcore. So maybe peoples opinions aren't based off of lack of skill just maybe they are based off of personal preferance.
