eagames.com — Your emails found their way to our production team and they?re in the process of evaluating what needs to be done in order to get this fixed. In the meantime, and since the 1.01 update is causing memory leakage on some systems, we recommend that you reinstall the game and NOT the v1.01 update we released earlier this week.

Battlefield 2, what a f**king joke. The free demo ran better than the damn thing I paid $50 for.

On a side note not everyone had has problems with the patch or the unpatched game.

BF1942 was buggy as hell when released. BFV was buggy as well and suffered from major balance issues when released. Given Dice's widely know difficulty in shipping bug-free product, WHY IN THE NAME OF GOD DID YOU PEOPLE BUY BF2 AT LAUNCH? Wait 6 months, it'll work fine then.

Next, the patch to patch the patch will be worse. I predict that v1.02 will have a crash so bad that it will go BSOD in XP. (P.S. I once tried to play a flash game that gave me a BSOD; not really related, but I just wanted to say it).

I have since returned my copy because of dissapointments with EA's products. Hopefully they'll get their act together. Just because they're big doesn't mean they can slack off so much. (wow..I had to edit that, I think this mac is making me dyslexic. ^_^ )

Geez, this thing is so buggy, the awkward and painfully slow menus, the inability to escape out of a connection, the name change problem, etc. makes me wonder if this wasn't written by the Sims team.
