consoles.gwn.com — EA dropped the news during a conference call "...we have ramped up [game] production for the Wii and DS Lite' following significant excitement over the Nintendo-created consoles at E3. Wii games won't cost more than US$49.99 at launch." If Wii games were to cost the same as HD games on the 360/PS3 then their advantage could be eliminated!

This is not going to hurt the Wii, because even at $50 per game, I could buy a Wii, a couple of games, maybe an extra remote, and STILL it would cost less than buying a PS2. And parents are going to like that come Christmas.

If i have a choice between GRAW for my PC; FEAR for my PC; or a Nintendo Wii game all at the same price im sorry but Nintendo you lose. Mario seems like the only title thus far worth 49.99 all the other stuff is 29.99 and mabe 39.99 at the most. Same goes for COD3 pc 49.99 or wii 49.99 just not even a choice really. Hopefully most games will be in the 29.99 range. Zelda would be worth 49.99 too.

Moving to England in December. I keep trying to forget about that price jump. ;-)That's why I try not to bitch about gas prices now! $3/gal is nothing compared to the $6+ in England!
