gamepro.com — So how did the big three stack up side by side? GamePro takes a look at Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony, analyzing what we did see, what wasn't shown, and most importantly, who brought their "A" game to the show floor. Everyone's had their big E3 Keynotes and the gaming world is still picking up the pieces from Microsoft's Natal Project, Nintendo's

The motion controller was extremely impressive. But it's going to be a gimmick, just like PSEye was/is, just like Wii, just like Natal will be.The good thing about the PS motion controller is that it senses your controller, not your movements...which I think will be a flaw with Natal. I believe its going to be very hard to keep your actions focused, say goodbye to having company over when you want to play a game that detects your movements, better put the dog away, better not have an itch to scratch, better not sneeze, better keep the lighting sufficient.

A lot of the stuff they are crediting is stuff we've known about forever. Wii Sports Resort? Final Fantasy XIII? Yeah, those two might both turn out to be great games, but do they really deserve to be in the "best of E3"? And just because Natal is cool doesn't mean Sony and Nintendo's motion controls automatically suck. Wii Motion Plus is the only one coming out any time soon anyway, and the only one which everyone knows for sure will catch on thanks to WSR and probably Zelda (sometime forever from now).

Settle this once and for all, Natal is based on 3D space. It can (in theory) track 1:1 movement on ANY object, IE a wireless controller shaped like a gun. Also it has the level of precision to recognize facial structure from 5-10 feet.PS:Eye only functions on a 2D which means it only can track based on preceived size, and can never actually do true 1:1 motion. Conclusion the Natal is next generation hardware even if it is gimmicky and useless. The PS Motion control is old news junk that also will probably be gimmicky...Adding a programmed item that has a specific size is very simplistic tech and is ridiculous that they are resorting to such low-tech devices on such a high-tech system. Sony should be ashamed of this project.

There really were none to be seen for the most part... G4 had their hooter dressed girls but beyond that it was kinda pathetic... lol
