scripting.com— John Dvorak admits (on camera) that he "deliberately pisses Mac users off to get flow for his stories." Maybe now everyone will stop pointing to his insane ramblings?

So boycott him. For a long time his opinion pieces have offered nothing of value. I'm not even a hardcore mac fan, but he's been against everything imaginable in these past few years. I had a subscription to PC Magazine and I quickly learned to ignore his column.Boycott Dvorak: http://shiwej.com/boycottdvorak/
Dvorak's not getting fired - what he is suggesting is a widely used advertising tactic. One of the most surefire ways to be famous is to piss a few people off who will complain about it bitterly and provide enough coverage for other to people to get interested and look into it. You remember the song Cop Killer? While I hate the song and what it stands for, it was not popular until a lot of people started to complain about it. So you have just provided another incentive for people to look into John C Dvorak.
