I know how to build a city! I also know how to destroy one. Sim City ftw.

I live in Mississauga and im kinda in a way insulted as to why they chose to put it in the opposite end of the spectrum against Vegas. Its like people are gonna picture Mississauga as a very mundane and bland place to live which is it not.

Once the world starts to run on microbe based fuels, the Islamic monopoly on energy will end. Terrorism will not receive any funding from Islamic "charities". And hopefully these ultraconservatives will go back to live their lives in desert tents with huge knives they use chop off human limbs.Oh and did I mention how The Christian Nation's oil lobby groups won't have any more money to fund Pat Robertson et al & GOP?Disruptive technologies are coming. It will take smart people to run such new paradigms in business and they will change the face of geo-politcs for a thousand years.

Take a look at the news. Las Vegas is one of the places being really hard hit by the economic and real estate downturn. The places that were the booming "growth" cities in the early 1990's are not doing so well now.

This article or another one I just read said that in Dubai, just standing still, a human requires 3 times the amount of water than an average human.
johnnysoftwareNov 28, 2009
The article contains crucial statistics on traffic, oil supply, water demands, investment credit, and population. It does not seem that daft to me. Someone did some research and a bit of thinking to write this article.

So he basically already knew key things to look for to judge success or failure? It is kind of strange but it seems like someone of his profession should have been brought in at the outset, in the planning stages.Who designs a 14 lane highway into a city building plan? The child deaths and 200 car pileup that resulted are hardly a surprising outcome.

Does dubai have any original thoughts?
