Mass production of the new LCD has begun and GM will be using them in automobiles to allow the driver to view GPS Navigation, while the passenger can enjoy DVD entertainment.

This is very innovative technology, but it appears that Sharp is having trouble coming up with ideas on how to use it. Well, here's one that I haven't heard mentioned yet... Why don't they use them at Point-of-Sale terminals? That way the employee can see one screen (such as customer info or sales suggestions), while the customer sees something else (such as the running total).
