Plenty of sites have scaled Drupal up successfully.

Drupal's modular system is a great bloat prevention methodology. It's also a great way to get LOTS of people involved, feeling great about their contributions -- without threatening the quality or power of the product. Drupal is amaing. I heart Drupal and the Drupal community.

I love working with Drupal! Since we've installed it I don't have to bother my programm-partner anymore :). We have setup a service for people who would like to test the Drupal CMS before they install it on a server: http://freedrupal5hosting.comOverhere you can setup a subdomain (or use your own domain) in a split second and use the CMS right away!

We have completed a survey of professional developers about the strengths and weaknesses of Joomla and Drupal Survey. We received about 200 responses. The survey results are available in a couple different formats. For more information view our blog post anouncing the results of the Drupal vs. Joomla Survey. The topics covered in our survey include the availability of developers for each CMS, ease of use, extensibility, the quality of documentation, and more. We hope these results will help people determine which CMS is best for their project Find the survey results at:http://www.webologysolutions.com/ebusiness-blog/Dr ...
