news.aol.com— I'm sure Mr. Drudge was thrilled to post the completely made up story about Barack Obama buying a $30,000 ring for Michelle, but it's a complete lie.

If you look closely at the DrudgeReport website, you'll notice that he doesn't write the stories. He is a news distributor and links to stories that others have written. This is in no way "Drudge's Story."
All the Drudge Report does is to link to articles written on other sites. Sure, the information is wrong, but the London Daily Mail is the one who published the story.
Agreed about the name, same as The Manchester Guardian hasn't been a local Manchester paper for the longest time. Also agreed that the Mail is a crap paper. Patronizing, and pandering to the 'middle class WI brigade' who walk around acting like they're holier than thou, and that their crap doesn't stink.
Yes, several times. The certificate was posted once at his campaign office in Illinois. He did not ave a team of lawyers going around and posting false birth certificates. FactCheck, PoliticoFact and others have shown that the certificate is real. Way to propagate a false rumor. Hell, even the newspapers the Honolulu Advertiser and the Star Bulletin had news clippings announcing his birth in Hawaii way back in 1961. These were found in the microfilm libraries. Man, that is one hell of a f**king conspiracy, that they actually remembered to announce his birth 47 years ago in Hawaii knowing at that time that his birth would come into question in his run up for the Presidency. You are an asshat.

You should care about trying to get back to accurate, fact checked reporting after all the mudslinging from the election season.
