You have got to be kidding me! Apple has released two versions of the iPhone OS3 SDK in the last two weeks. Each one is over 3 Gig. So just those two downloads would be over 15% of all the bandwidth. Add a CentOS ISO and a couple of HD LOST episodes on hulu and I'd be screwed for the month.
I'd love to see that, but chances are that the simple-stupid consumer herd will continue business as usual without hearing or understanding whats happening, until they go past the 40G barrier and get slapped and act all surprised. That is, they will not hear or understanding whats happening - unless there's enough noise about it in the media.Get crackin' people!

The Austin city council is not too pleased with Time Warner's greedy new scheme...http://www.bizjournals.com/austin/stories/2009/03/ ...

What would be even MORE lovely is if the 40G cap does not cover sites Warner has a stake in.You know. Neutrality and stuff. Perfect test case?

Isn't TWC now completely separate from Time Warner?
