thefanboys.com— On the eve of E3, the fanboys muse on what a reboot of the Xbox 360 dashboard could look like, and how it could improve your experience with your console.

It's true, considering Gold users pay for the XBox service, they shouldn't have so much of the screen occupied by advertisements. I guess they are addressing the Silver users, but do something different for people paying.
Not to take sides, as I am a fan of both 360 and PS3 (different reasons for each) and my choice on games is different in those regards, but I can't get over the fact that PS3's online component (PSN) is much more passive in the system's main screen (XMB) and extremely light on ads in the store. If they can offer this for free, what gives with 360? Then again, I'm sure when home launches it will be a virtual whoring of every little digital piece of product placement imaginable, but still...
I dont see them doing away with the blades, i think they are happy with that look. It would be nice if they lowered the amount of ads, but given the amount of users I think they like the paycheck to much.
I want this! Not the crap they showed at E3!!!! Omg what they are going to give us looks sooooo bad. Do NOT WANT! can we like vote somewhere that the new system looks like crap?

I don't care how many reasons and lists you have. You're a fanboy, and I like my 360

i agree. one picture that is usually oddly skewed for all blades is not appealing but i suppose thats how they justify buying "themes" .

Do you know anything about design? There are objects scattered everywhere. The simpler, the better.

The XMB is a rip-off of the Windows Media Center interface so would they really be ripping off the PS3?

I like this idea. Glad someone is bringing this up.

...takes up half the screen, and (sometimes) half a minute to load.
