The ethrnet adpater was only offered in the dev kits for the US. We didn't get a ethernet addon like the Japanese did. We would of got it, had the Dreamcast lived. Also, I forgot about the cable. Thanks for reminding me.P.S. Why was I dugg down? Thats stupid. What I said was right and Xerox backed me up. The US didn't see a release of a ethernet adapter, it only came in US dev kits.
I got a dreamcast from a friend recently and I love it. 'Twas ahead of its time. I'm trying to find a VGA box for it, and the BBA. Wish me luck, 'cause I'm gonna need it.
Ahh, I remember when I fried my dreamcast's power supply by connecting a battery directly to the mobo, without disconnecting it from the power board. It killed the power board, but I could boot my dreamcast to some extent with an AC adaptor. I finally got it working properly again when I wired it to a 120 W ATX power supply(the main connector has all the correct voltage levels). Works beautifully now.
