torrentfreak.com — In Spain, a judge has dismissed a case against a man who downloaded and shared 3322 copyrighted movies on the Internet. Despite efforts from local anti-piracy outfits, the legal system in Spain continues to stand firmly behind those who share music and movies without financial gain.

I don't know if you will ever see this but it doesn't seem like they are calling into question the actual number of full movies he uploaded (perhaps as theaceoffire pointed out, that even at 0.01 he would have shared 33).If he even 'shares' a piece of the movie, he is sharing the movie, the RIAA/MPAA does not seem interested in making a full line between pieces of a movie and a whole film, and so it appears, by sharing parts of the movie, he shared all 3322 movies (since while you download, unless you are a dick, you always upload).

definition of theft: "The crime of taking someone else's property without consent". content is someone's property. if they hadnt given you their consent, how is then piracy not a kind of theft?go to a bakery shop, take a scoop of yeast, whats the problem, they will grow more, right? i wonder how understanding a judge will be to this line of thinking.what about tomatoes? they grow from the sun and CO2, why not take a few at the market? they grow for free for the farmer, right?piracy my ass, this is theft, pure and simple.

I'm not new to the internet. I was asking a serious question. We all know that it's not downloading that gets you in trouble... it's uploading. So saying he has downloaded 3322 movies is irrelevant. I was asking how many movies he uploaded... and wondering how the MPAA would attack him if a similar thing happened in America. Apparently any sharing of any piece of a movie is illegal according to what Tunic said above. Thank you for responding in a polite manner.I'm well aware of how P2P works, assh**es... I was just pointing out the fact that downloading isn't illegal... it's uploading/sharing.
