downloadsquad.com — Today I'm going to show you an easy way to download eBooks for your phone or PDA... Some are classics that are no longer bound by copyright law. Others are documents that have been made freely available by authors who believe in the value of distributing some of their work freely

even if stuff is copyrighted the author can give you the rights to read it without paying.

I use and really like teal doc but it does cost $20. It will read a native format or plain text files. Better yet it doesn't care if the text file uses Dos or Unix formating. It will open files from an SD card making it very easy to load files and supports bookmarks (though only for native formated files) and you can edit the file. Only problem is that it isn't free but if you read a lot on your palm $20 isn't to bad. Plus they do have a trial version so you can see if it's worth it.Edit it also looks like you can download a converter to convert .txt to the native format though this isn't necessary. It just gives you smaller files that you can bookmark

All new Palms (for quite a while, I remember getting this on my Zire 31) come with an app called PalmReader on the software CD. It's the best reader I've used, much much better than Plucker.

Here is another great site for either reading books online or downloading them:http://books.google.com/When you do a search, use the "Full View" option.
