itorrent.cc — iTunes is a great music player, but it sucks as a podcast aggregator. The most important feature it doesn't have is bittorrent support. I hope that they will add this feature in the near future, but for now iTorrent can help us. iTorrent is a bunch of python scripts, allowing iTunes to download bittorrent podcasts.

I got the same result when I tried. I wonder if it does have to do with file format? Though, you'd think that it would be iTunes throwing up the errors - not the script...

I'm the author of iTorrent and I just discovered that it has been dugg. Anyway, if you're having problems getting it started on Windows, it's because there's an undocumented dependency on Win32 Extensions, which can be downloaded at <a class="user" href="http://starship.python.net/crew/mhammond/win32/Downloads.html">http://starship.python.net/crew/mhammond/win32/Downloads.html</a> I didn't discover the dependency problem until recently. (I have Win32 Extensions installed on my system but didn't realize that the BitTorrent module that iTorrent uses was using it.) Anyway, the dependency will be documented shortly and will be removed entirely in the next release of iTorrent.

How many of those listeners would have subscribed if they HADN'T found you through iTunes?
