Glad I'm using Win2k, so I can't even be tempted to install it. Firefox forever! And Google OS for president!

Microsoft should have hired the people who made Avant browser, as they improved IE6 tremendously. I feel as though IE7 has a very long way to go, until it can even compare to Firefox, Opera, or Avant's IE6 clone.

@thenik: Thanks for your inspiring and informed thoughts (2 comments above). We'll consider ourselves officially told, and refrain from any Microsoft bashing in future. Once again, thanks so much for chosing to spend your precious time on us - I don't know what we'd do without people like you around to just tell it to us straight.

Astounding ? I have is pity, no argument will reach you. But I a few important reasons why IE will remain the best: 1. It supports click through transparent flash2. Firefox is build around the rules that IE bent.3. IE liberated the web from stupid little rules like, max table height and other little silly rules that has absolutely no merit.4. IE was the only browser that really pushed for CSS, where the others were always a bit reluctant5. IE security breaches are made public, unlike those in firefox that you need to find in google6. Opera, Firefox, Netscape and others have all used IE as the benchmark, if you don?t believe me, look at IE5 and FF1, not the graphic layout but the functional layout, with the exception of the all mighty ?tabbed browsing? OMG like that?s a big deal, I don?t use tabbed browsing, cuz there?s a shortcut ?Alt Tab?, try it.Finally, if developers had their way, everyone would actually still be using good ol Netscape 4. Please try to stop the bashing and support it with SUBJECTIVE facts.

@Dracos:Box model is not broken, althought ppl like to say it is, the workaround is hardly something to talk about. As far as MIME, DOM and CSS goes, I have no idea where it's coming from, since I've NEVER had a problem with it. Maybe there are issues that I have not yet had an application for, but I can list the same and more issues with every browser none more so than Firefox. To my knowledge namespace has been supported since IE4. PNG support from people who dont want to run activeX seems a bit strange. It's like not having a DVD rom because you can load illegal software and get a virus. Ditto to the rest, but thank you at least for keeping it constructive.

Don't use IE get firefox and get the ie tab (<a class="user" href="http://ietab.mozdev.org/)">http://ietab.mozdev.org/)</a> you can use that for opening ie only pages without ever having to open ie!
