This is performed by the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. It's copyrighted by Danish Radio (DR), so it's only free in the sense that they don't charge you for downloading this. Great stuff, btw, especially since they offer it as DRM free mp3-files.

There's more free classical music to download from The Danish Broadcasting Corp. You can get five concerts with young Danish ensembles playling Beethoven, Haydn, Schumann etc. at http://www.dr.dk/P2/Begivenheder/kamkon/Download/forside.htm

Dear Friends, Good Evening and Greetings. I love Mozart's Music specially his Symphonies and Canons. I learnt the violin at the age of 10. I am a Fan of Classical Music from South Asia and I am a South Asian Christian of Portuguese Descent. I have clicked on the mp3 files that was provided by a member on this list but "Page not Found" came up all the time for all the files. Is there anyone here who could please send me these mp3 files on Mozart's Symphonies ? Alternatively, Is there any Site affiliated with this Danish Podcast that I can download these Symphonies from ? I would be most grateful if even a few, could be sent. In my country Classical Music is hard to come by. Regards,

Dear freebrowsers, Merry Christmas from India. I am in search of these awesome Symphonies which were made available by Danish National Radio in January and February 2006 for the last 9 months. Would it be possible for you to please send them to me on a "Piecemeal Basis" ? If you can send them to me on a piecemeal basis, I will give you my email address. I would be grateful if you could let me know.

The are now recording all of Mozart's symphonies - and though they are not for free this time, they are up for download for the best price I have yet seen on the net... check it outwww.ruo.dk/mozartsymphonies

You might want to specify that this is for linux next time or you might get a bunch of windows (or sweet Jesus imagine what Mac noobs could think!) users confused. Still, good to see people are using linux.

You think they released those songs to the public domain without asking for the performer's permission? And if you think that ALL music should be charged to be listened to, you are such a big loser.
