blogs.abcnews.com — Though he is now the former Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld is expected to be accused of war crimes in a lawsuit to be filed next week in Germany. The suit is being brought in Germany because a "universal jurisdiction" law there allows German courts to claim jurisdiction over war crimes even if they were committed outside that country's borde

Evidence schmevidenceLook at who is bringing up the lawsuit and where it is being presented. This is a court where you could accuse Bush of fathering your child and it would procede without question. The only reason this made digg front page is all the DeMoocrat cattle thumbing it up due to the title and their misguided notion on what constitutes war crimes. Remember, Hitler ordered the deaths of countless civilians. He picked a mandate and carried it out. Rumsfeld did not, however there was civilian casualties, 150,000 in last reports. But the people killing most of these civilians is NOT the US military. It's their fellow countrymen and other outside groups. Rumsfeld did not wake up one morning and say "Let's go out and genocide some Iraqis." He didn't order US forces to wantonly slaughter civilians.

f**k all of you peace loving pussy fags. What the f**k is a war crime? War is about killing people. There is no such thing as a war crime. The rules of war are written by the weak to protect themselves. The rules of war are meaningless against an opponent who will fight at any cost and use any means to secure victory. f**k the U.N. What the f**k good have they ever done the world? We're decades later and they haven't done s**t about the Korean War. Can anyone say genocide? What the f**k have they done about that in Africa? Not a god damn thing. The U.S. didn't need any further f**kin' reasons to go into Iraq. Saddam had his conditions of surrender after the initial Gulf War invasion. He failed to live up to those conditions and he paid the f**kin' price. Where the hell are all of those people at who bitched about the U.S. not going all the way into Baghdad and taking out Saddam 10 years ago? Something is finally done that should've been done 10 years ago and now everyone's crying over a ruthless dictator who ruled with an iron fist. f**kin' hypocrites. So there were no f**kin' WMDs. He was playing a dangerous game of poker and bluffing his own generals and the rest of the world. His bluff was called. Let that be a message to the world's leaders - don't bluff the U.S. or else they'll call it. Furthermore, once the weak ass U.N. flinched and released all sanctions, it was going to be full steam ahead on the WMD development. Who do you think he would have used those on or sold them too? It sure as s**t wouldn't have been the girl scouts. Why don't you people pull your heads out of your f**kin’ fantasy world and realize that there's a fourth world war taking place between the civilized world that stands for freedom and a barbaric enslaving religious zealot order that seeks world domination. The barbarians aren't at the gates. The barbarians are in Rome and it's burning. You're either going to participate in this war, support this war, be die the sword, or by converted by the sword to an Islamic rule.

Just an observation,..If Saddam is to be executed for his military leadership and not necessarily being the trigger-man, then by the same logic, Rumsfeld and Bush are directly responsible for Abu Graib and Haditha. Should America not he held to the same standard of accountability?

It will be deeply satisfying to have this bastard locked outside the US, unable to travel abroad to countries that have binding extradition treaties with Germany - of which there are a lot - and be found guilty.

Hmmm it sounds like it the year 450. In a short while the Roman empire will have collapsed and all those fat-ass bigmouthed roman citizens will be dead or eating their children, buildings razed to the ground. The murrcan empire is soon to come crashing down.

Corporationism Rules Or The Dog Gets It, <a class="user" href="http://reno.broowaha.com/article.php?id=4265">http://reno.broowaha.com/article.php?id=4265</a>Donald Rumsfeld was a student of economist Milton Friedman and what was once know as The Chicago Boys but has come to be known as The Chicago Thugs. Rumsfeld bet the future on plagues. Richard “Dick” Cheney, was an early student of Donald Rumsfeld during the American President Ford’s administration. As Secretary of Defense under American President George H.W. Bush, Cheney bet the future on war, and a private sector McMilitary. Today Cheney’s treasonous bet is known as Blackwater and Haliburton. On September 10, 2001, CNN Evening News had a story titled “Defense Secretary Declares War on the Pentagon’s Bureaucracy.” That morning, then U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld had described Pentagon employees as enemies of America, the Pentagon as a grave threat to America and declared war on the Pentagon, the institution he had taken an oath of allegiance to.The Pentagon’s staff, highly educated, trained and experienced in America’s national defense, had devoted their entire careers to defending America. The Pentagon’s staff had successfully defended America, most notably from the Communist Soviet Union. They were now listening to the most extraordinary, and devastating to America, speech ever given by a U.S. Defense Secretary. A speech that violated that U.S. Defense Secretary oath of allegiance to his office and his country. Donald Rumsfeld had gone public with his treason and that he was a domestic terrorist with interests hostile to America and the U.S. government he was now paid to be an effective functioning part of.A Country Hijacked, <a class="user" href="http://reno.broowaha.com/article.php?id=4170">http://reno.broowaha.com/article.php?id=4170</a>Then U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was not looking to save American’s their tax dollars. Nor was he looking to defend America. Nor was he looking to do the job he was getting paid by American taxpayers to do, that being to govern. He wasn’t even interested in his oath of allegiance. Donald Rumsfeld violated his oath to obey and uphold the U.S. Constitution, which clearly defines America’s national security as the duty of the U.S. government. Then treasonous U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, now an open domestic terrorist, ordered every U.S. Department of Defense and Pentagon department immediately slashed by 15 percent while demanding from the U.S. Congress an overall 11 percent Department of Defense budget increase. He then unconstitutionally and treasonously privatized America’s national defense. One of the then Pentagon employees described their, and the rest of the audiences, reaction to then U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld’s staff meeting speech that morning. “He was saying we were the enemy, that the enemy was us.” Then U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld’s unconstitutional and treasonous actions were lost in the shock and horror of America’s 9.11. 125 Pentagon employees were killed, 110 seriously injured. That’s 235 patriotic Americans that 24 hours earlier, their boss and now traitor to America, Donald Rumsfeld, had maliciously branded as enemies of America.Traitors Donald Rumsfeld, George W. Bush and Richard Cheney had all declared and made it clear they believed that the job of government, that they were being paid by Americans’ tax dollars to do, was no longer to govern. The horrifying results were the evisceration of the American military, and the rise of a private police force. That rise of a private police force is funded with American taxpayer’s dollars. That unconstitutional private police force is the treasonous Blackwater, a for-profit multi-national corporation that believes it is not accountable to American taxpayers that fund them nor the American Congress nor any American laws, nor even other country’s laws.
