arstechnica.com — As it turns out, the internal memo was (apparently) a hoax. Apple sent out a followup memo to its employees saying: "You may have received what appeared to be a Bullet*News from Apple. This communication is fake and did not come from Apple. Apple is on track to ship iPhone in late June and Mac OS X Leopard in October."

I don't believe this, but how can I believe myself if I can hear myself and I can't believe everything I hear? How can I believe that I don't believe if I can't believe what I can and can not believe. I believe I am confused, but I don't believe that is certain either.I don't believe how complicated this is...or maybe I do...I don't know...but then......*duct tapes own mouth (some how stopping self from typing)*

What i find facinating is the fact that apple's stock is that fragile.Obviously it's not uncommon for stocks to take a tumble. But for a medium traffic website to post news of a hoax (intentionally or not)...and then have apple stock tumble in response to this. Seems like apple is riding the fine wallstreet line between glory and failure.

Alaris purposely most probably put Leopard and iPhone NOT delayed in order to get more diggs, making us diggers think that Leopard is somehow miraculously going to come out in June. But thank god I didn't get my hopes up, it felt a bit too good to be true and I didn't believe it so I couldn't feel disappointed.
