I hate to say it, but Linux users (like me) are constantly talking about feature creep and bloat in Windows, when the distro we're talking about in this article comes with an office suite, an image editor, and many other things that aren't used by everybody and needn't be installed as part of the default package. If we're going to preinstall a whole office suite, why not spend a few KB to include these Nautilus scripts?
Insofar as it is much harder to do anything at all, then yeah it would also therefore be much harder to screw things up. But that is like saying taking the engine out of my car makes it much less likely to get in a wreck.

oh, that's nice as I used to type "sudo nautilus" in terminal to get the nautilus-gksu effect :P

I didn't know they existed until now, which is why I used to prefer Konqueror.
