I'm guessing I am one of the very few people who prefers this when you have to troubleshoot. We had our switch closets really really neat in my last job which made tracing things a royal pain in the ass. I would of MUCH rather had this oh this cable goes here.. click, done. Yes, it doesn't look as pretty, but I'd rather have this than spend 10-15 minutes trying to find a cable and then run another one from the switch to the patch panel.
