Good question, but I guess it comes down to who has the best lawyers. Microsoft has a bevy of over paid legal beagles on staff and is quite effective in forcing manufactures to toe their line. I know I don?t have the legal muscle to take them on, over a EULA. As to whether it is ethical or not, well I?ve spent 30 years in the IT business, worked on/with all of the IBM 5100 series computers also. /not a fan of Bill
