dailymail.co.uk — The thought of a 15ft great white shark ripping through a metal cage and heading straight for you is the stuff of nightmares ? but it was a reality for two scuba divers in Mexico. The terrifying incident unfolded as the two men took part in an ?ultimate shark diving experience? and watched the two tonne shark feeding on tuna.

Geez, what's the deal with the shaky camera dude, it's not like a Great White Shark jammed itself into the cage with yo--oh, nevermind.

Although that's a big scary fish, I think 2 tons for a 15 footer is a bit of an exagerration. Also if they 'estimated' the 15 foot length, refraction makes things look bigger underwater, adrenaline could easily make them forget this. Such sensationalism from the daily mail is to be expected of course.A typical adult great white shark measures 4?4.8 metres (13?16 ft) and has a mass of 680?1,100 kilograms (1,500?2,400 lb). The great white shark's "normal" maximum size is about 6 m (20 ft), with a "normal" maximum weight of about 1,900 kg (4,200 lb)Ellis and McCosker write in regards to modern great white sharks that "it is likely that [Great White] sharks can weigh as much as 2 tons", but also note that the largest recent scientifically measured examples weigh in at about 2 metric tons (2.2 short tons). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_white_shark

Yet another episode that we are blaming sharks , but the truth is that the intruder was the diver and not the sharkI've read a good story about shark attacks , and I might tell that I agree with author http://www.dailyscubadiving.com/tip-and-tricks/is- ...It's more likely that you'll be a victim of lightning , rather then shark attack . Of course it happens sometimes , but I'm against that many of us still think that this gorgeous creatures deserve to die. Yeah someone posted a great video , but this type videos are filling ourselves with unnecessary fear . By the way , year 2009 is devoted to sharks I found this info from same blog http://www.dailyscubadiving.com/news/year-2009-is- ...So let respect this animals , as they are on planet much longer then we areAll the best to you guys
