weopondefense.notlong.com— Developed by Israeli company Rafael, it creates a sort of protective bubble defending ground vehicles against RPGs (rocket-propelled grenades) and tank rounds. Video in swf form.

Perhaps he was talking about the infrared lasers projected for use on helicopters and slow aircraft to protect them against infrared guided missiles. Those lasers work by first accuiring the incoming missile by radar, then aiming the laser into the guiding head of the missile, heating a different part of the sensor, blinding or making the missile deflect towards that point. Sort of like a flare.
Why would a raindrop be considered highly aerodynamic. AFAIK the spherical shape is due to surface tension (small drops have a greater surface area to volume ratio). What does this have to do with its aerodynamic properties?

The "top secret technology" looks like a powerful precision flak shotgun round like the one VIce-pres. Cheney used against quails & friends. Another point, teh energy field around the tank looks like a Photoshoped "Force Field" WTF? If it smells like Israeli military propaganda it probably is..........ETC.Watch Real American Made & Developed "force field" or Anti-Gravity Technology (a.k.a. omega point field)<a class="user" href="http://digg.com/technology/Direct_Link:_Video_of_Israeli_Made_Forcefield_#c1413466">http://digg.com/technology/Direct_Link:_Video_of_Israeli_Made_Forcefield_#c1413466</a>

Yawn... more Fox News sensationalism. A "forcefield"? How can they even report this with a straight face? Do they check their facts at all? Nevermind, we're talking about Fox "We know Saddam caused 9/11" News. Was there mention that systems like this were developed in Russia in the 1980s? They're not widely used because they're expensive. The US military can't afford to uparmor Humvees, it's not going to be able to afford to retrofit this system on existing vehicles.<a class="user" href="http://www.trackpads.com/magazine/publish/article_759.shtml">http://www.trackpads.com/magazine/publish/article_759.shtml</a><a class="user" href="http://armor.kiev.ua/fofanov/Tanks/EQP/drozd.html">http://armor.kiev.ua/fofanov/Tanks/EQP/drozd.html</a><a class="user" href="http://armor.kiev.ua/fofanov/Tanks/EQP/arena.html">http://armor.kiev.ua/fofanov/Tanks/EQP/arena.html</a>
