xbox360fanboy.com — A scan of the March 2006 issue of Official Xbox Magazine reveals "that a DirecTV blade might be added to your Xbox 360 Dashboard to accompany the Xbox Live, Games, Media, and System blades. In that blade, you could download TV episodes in high definition, HD movies on demand, and standard-definition streaming DVR (i.e., TiVo) functions."

Everybody should remember, too, that even though OXM *is* the "Official" Xbox Magazine, sometimes that doesn't mean much. Go back and read some of their pre-launch issues and you'll see what I mean. They're more like a rag dedicated to Xbox than some group with spcecial inside access.Nobody get your hopes up. Microsoft has so far managed to blunt all the "Wow! Cool!" feature possibilities with the 360. Somehow I doubt they'll change their tune and release something truly smokin' and innovative. That said, I still love the damn thing.

"What if it's just streaming?"No way....! but i'm not saying they'll never do it.....it'll just suck in quality if it was streaming.....with the bandwith we all have.

That's cool if you have directv.I have comcast, and my dvr is even made by microsoft... (only residents of WA have this guide version). No Xbox 360 support though, it would only make sense though sense the box does have network abilities.
