flickr.com — Hopefully if we can make the front page, it will attract enough attention to convince someone to create a Pictures section on digg. This just links to flickr, one of the sites that often has pictures featured on the front page!

If there can be a news, video and podcast section it seems to make sense to have a pictures section.....

A picture category is not needed. A picture can and will fall into one of the already available categories, just like it would be pointless to have a "website" category or a "text" category. "Picture" is ambiguous.

feedback@digg.com, we dont need a "news" story created everytime a feature changes, is removed, or someone has an idea.
