amazon.co.uk — This link takes you to a UK pre-order page for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The recent media firestorm over the 7th book's title release saw many a digg user submitting Harry Potter stories... but no where to submit them to! Digg this to the front page and let's get a Book section for Digg!

a photos section would be nice though...

I digg this because I would like to see a Books section and not because I'm buying into Mark Ciccone's filthy way of using digg to advertise the next Harry Potter book.

"We don't need a books section. Entertainment covers it just fine"Which is exactly why there are no Movie or Television subsections, right? What?Oh...

"Not just a Books subsection - the whole thing needs a revamp. I mean, where's the Arts section? Music, drawing, Photoshop anyone?"You can lump that all into a fine art section and add a picture as a sub section. I would also like to see that and a forums section so you cad talk about off topic things like this.

but this post has nothing to do with Harry Potter. the link was just used because a link is required to post something - here it has nothing to do with the intent of posting

@anagoge,Not necessarily, because people might have refrained from submitting book-related articles entirely if they felt that no category is even remotely appropriate.

Books should be here yes, and anything related to art actually. Keep on the good job digg ppl (and don't forget to listen to us:)

"A better way to get a book section rather than "Digg this story", would be to spend your time actually citing all of the most popular book-related stories that have been on Digg. If you find that there's a lot and that there's a huge demand, then you'll be listened to. If, however, you find that there's very few book-related stories, you have your answer as to why there isn't a book category on Digg."except that people may not be submitting because there is no relevant category...
