Since the new change, they removed the videos from all the RSS feeds and other pages that contain news, and relegated them to their own pages / feeds. I found is more difficult to find about new videos when browsing the "upcoming" pages unless I remember to specifically click on the "videos" link. I know that a lot of people hate to see videos intermingled with other types of stories, but now newsworthy (digg-worthy?) videos will not get the exposure they need to get promoted.

The new fluid width Digg layout actually doesn't make use of all screen estate if you're using a high resolution, such as 1600x1200, like I am. It only expands to take up about 75% of my browser window.

Am I the only one skeptical about Digg's move to allow you to view the videos off the Digg site? I thought Digg was supposed to be about driving traffic to the original page and not hosting the content.

Wogna, maybe try writing to digg about it, you make a valid point. Hate to see your ideas go to waste.

I was using a Greasemonkey script to address this, but of course now it doesn't work.

You Can No Longer See Your "Friends" The Digg friends feature was the main way people were gaming the system. Users friend each other on Digg and digg each others' stories, which makes it easy for users to get stories to the homepage. Not any more! Friends can't see friends.

Where did the ajax style categories go? Now I gotta click a category... wait for the page to refresh... then click the sub category I wanted. I liked the old style of it damnit. But other then that I like the new layout.

Oh this is so easily bypassed. Just make sure you have their msn, or aim, or yahoo, etc handle and have them notify everyone in their friends list under the group digg for example that you just posted a story, for them to digg it. Turning off that feature won't stop it at all. And yes I'm now aware that it was turned off by mistake.
