pandia.com— Neil Patel explained that the people who rule Digg and Stumbleupon are kids or they like to behave like kids. They will joke around they will slam you. So be warned.

I guess that's why I've only been to Myspace only a few times. The flavor of almost every page reminds my of a high school locker after 3 years of neglect.
Well said, jacko. Something needs to be done about this lack of accountability inherent in places like DIGG. The only place that can be accomplished IMO is in the home. Parents need to stand up and hold their kids accountable for their actions. I'm sure only an adolescent would disagree with this. DIGG was a terrific concept, until juvenielles were allowed to corrupt it.
I just looked at the end of the article, so many badges that no one heard or give a crap about. I'll make a badge of a middle finger one day to prove this fad/trend is really stupid.Niel is a trend whore.
I was just thinking this week that I am just about through with Digg. After noticing almost every other post is similar to:'Dumbass O'Reilly Got pwned!!!!''Stupid Repugli****s!!!''Nutjob religious wackos who believe in an imaginary man in the sky..'I did a Google search for 'Digg Immature Kids' and found this. Wow. This used to be a great site for technology news. Like Slashdot only more open to moderation and story submission. It might as well be called 'The Huffington Post For Pre-Teens' I don't understand the groupthing either. I understand that it is easy for most college kids to suck in the political ideas that are forced on them in the classroom, but I have a hard time believing most of the poeple here are over 15 the way they act. Where is all of this hatred coming from? Don't kids do things for fun these days?I rarely even look at the comments anymore because EVERY ONE THAT HASN'T BEEN DUGG DOWN IS EXACTLY THE SAME!! There is RARELY ever an original idea that gets dugg in the comment section. If it is a political story especially, the comments are so predictable, it is just not interesting.

Don't say you're 16. I'm 16, and you're making me look stupid.

Ahh, so this must be why such a bruhaha was made about $600 for a games console - their parents said "no".

With all due respect, as you are a child, it is impossible for you to recognise childish behaviour.

Oh well, might as well say it and get it out of the way:I, for one, welcome our immature overlords...

I actually liked this article--and the childish comments make my social networking much more entertaining.
