i38.tinypic.com— I thought you said you wouldn't circumvent Adblock Plus. Do you not care how this degrades the layout?Is this what we have to look forward to?

Banner ads, and ads that look like stories are one thing. But when that ads that play loud obnoxious audio come into the equation (I'm looking at you, Where the Wild Things Are), all bets are off, and I'm blocking every single one of them.
You seem to be doing pretty good with only 12 friends. I am only learning but I think friends and other social networking sites are important factors when it comes to getting to the front page.

Add a new filter for the background image and it goes away.

It makes the comments all narrow and lame. Even if you add the filter to adblock

I like the new adds. It was nothing but several inches of white space before. And the adds are something i'm interested in.

Using the Firebug addon for FireFox, you can disable the ad.With ad, http://imgur.com/5GEHm.pngWithout ad, http://imgur.com/bhacE.pngUsing Firebug to remove ad:http://imgur.com/YfvAi.pnghttp://imgur.com/QdpJZ.pngBy analysing the changes, you can see that in order to remove the ad, the following styles need to be applied:body {-moz-background-clip:border;-moz-background-inline-policy:continuous;-moz-background-origin:padding;background:#E5ECF3 none repeat scroll 0 0;}#container {max-width:1200px;}

Without ads there would be no Digg.
