Sysadmins definitely don't get the respect they deserve. Most of the people that I know who work in corporate IT or commerical data centers are incredibly smart and work really long hours. I'm nominating lots of them to win!

I want someone to test something out for me.What I think is anything with "Digg" in the subject title, no matter what its about, gets to the frontpage. Can someone test out my theory for me?This is what to do, start a new story with garabge data in the description and a dead link as a URL and tell me if it gets to the front page. You can bet it works, I just haven't tried it yet.

I think he is the perfect poster boy for sysadmins. That's generally what we look like. :p

I think sysadmin day is stupid. Im a sysadmin. Whenever I hear sysadmin day, i can't help hearing in my head that whiny voice of that guy who said he made it up "becasue were just as important as secretaries!"Sysadmin of the year sounds a little less gay, but still, i'd rather a fat salary and people to just shut up and leave me alone!

I'd nominate mine, but he just put up a content filter, bad sysadmin, no cookie.
