talhost.net — Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is without a doubt worthy of being called popular all over the internet, appearing on the front page of the LA Times, TIME, MSN.com and many many more places and within 24 hours shot to #1 on iTunes TV downloads (people parting with hard earned cash!) clearly popular - but not with the digg PTB !?

I've seen lots of people complain about the algorithm and the fact that Digg puts stories with few Diggs on the front page while other upcoming stories miss out. Only Digg know why for sure, but I am surprised that Dr Horrible hasn't made a dent on Digg so far. The last episode is out at midnight EST tonight, so we'll see what happens then!

I don't think it's the number of diggs, but a rate. 100 diggs in a few minuets seem to kick you up to the front page in a few minutes. 400 digs in 40 days isn't so hot.

Yes the original didn't get all 1600 votes in a short span of time like digg likes, but both act 1 and 2 did get almost 200 diggs in less then 24 hours. That should have gotten them on the front page.
