zaphu.com — An article presenting evidence of a Digg Bury Brigade actively censoring political speech and interesting commentary regarding the possibility that the brigades are financed and organized by some group lurking in the shadows.

There still is. I've been to enough ron paul forums to see threads with links to digg stories asking other members to digg (which they do obligingly) JCM found that mailing list post a while ago. You even see it on digg with some ronbots posting simple descriptions or comments like "you know what to do."

In six weeks I could retire. Bliss.

So you are telling me that you look at every single Ron Paul article and then make a judgement on whether its good or not or spam or a duplicate? Or do you just blindly bury anything with the name Ron Paul in it? I would say the latter. Guess what, the Digg algorithm knows about people like you and your buries honestly do not mean a god damn thing after you bury so many articles on the same topic. The truth hurts, dont it :)

Actually, 85% of the Ron Paul spam is fully buried. Some of that 85% has made the front page before getting buried once there. It also doesn't mean that 15% makes the front page, surely some of that simply falls out of the Upcoming queue.

ribeye1) Stem cell research will NOT cease without abortion. Stem cells are alive and well in umbilical cords at birth.2) I am pro-choice; however, the point of the pro-life movement WAS many young women felt they HAD to have an abortion because (probably before your time) of the social stigma of un-wed motherhood. Such a stigma no longer is valid. Additionally, there are many very effective forms of birth control. Abortion should ONLY be used as a last resort, not as a form of birth control. Moreover, now that there is a morning after pill abortion would, ideally, be rendered obsolete unless the mother‘s health is jeopardized. I know the problems we are having regarding some pharmacists’ refusal to dispense the morning after pill; however, ’we the people’ will have ample opportunity to address specific issues at the state level. Finally, this issue has been dividing our country for 35years. If we can address the need for abortion in special circumstances, for example rape and jeopardy to the mother, etc… I believe we will find the majority of us can come to agreement. No one wants young women relegated to ’black market’ abortions again, especially those of us acquainted with the issue enough to have known someone who lost their ability to reproduce or died as a result. Apparently, today, there are those that think the point of pro-choice was solely to assert a woman’s control of her own destiny and body. That is not the case. It was because the social stigma was SO great most teenagers were thrown out of their homes for the shame they brought the family. To admit their condition and go to a ‘home for un-wed mothers’ to give birth and decide if they wanted to raise the child themselves (Which most wouldn’t think of, not because of the inconvenience of raising a child alone, but because she new the consequences. She would have been deemed unworthy of consideration as a wife AND the stigma would be placed on her child. Other parents would shun the child, as a playmate for THEIR children because of their “BASTARD” status. This poor child would have to endure the taunts of ‘bastard’ from their peers AND, if a girl, be deemed unworthy of a husband AND fair game for what we now call ‘date rape‘ AND gang rapes with NO repercussions for the rapists. A son would endure a similar fate. If you can dig up some old stats, you will find children of unwed mothers [raised by their birth mothers] disproportionately spent a lifetime in and out of prison. They also had higher rates of alcoholism and drug addiction.), or give them up for adoption. Having made the choice to have the baby and give it up, by no means, meant she would be welcome home. That depended on the family. Most were ‘on their own’ from then on. In addition, the fathers, like the rapists, paid no price at all. It was ugly from start to finish. THAT is why so many took their chances with unscrupulous abortionists. They knew they might DIE, but that would have been preferable. Today, without the stigma, and with so many contraceptive choices available (including the morning after pill) there seems little argument FOR abortion EXCEPT in special circumstances. We all are responsible for our own destiny. If young men and women CHOOSE to have sex, they should also CHOOSE to use contraception until they are ready to be parents. If they CHOOSE not to do so, they should DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES. There are many benefits to this approach to unwanted pregnancy. The nation might heal the chasm that separates us now, the need for ‘abortion clinics’ should be eliminated because hospitals would be willing to perform abortions if the reason for the abortion was more than, “I don’t want to have a baby.” That would help the cause by removing the blatant reminder abortion clinics themselves present pro-lifers and (within the limits of the law) put this decision where it should be, in the hands of the doctor and the patient. On a positive note, ‘black market’ abortionists won’t jeopardize young women AND there will be more babies available for adoption. There are so many childless couples begging for the chance to love a child. It will solve some sticky issues that have developed as a result of the use of surrogate mothers, also. J3) Out of context, quotes can APPEAR to endorse almost anything. If you research more than ‘sound bytes’, you will find Dr. Paul is not at all a racist and I resent the implication I would vote for one. Having lived through the civil rights era, I know just how bad things were and I was against it from the beginning. I was once, and still am, proud to be called a commie, pinko, fag, bleeding heart, liberal. You won’t get that because we seem to be suffering from “double-speak”, as Orwell put it, under the guise of “political correctness”. You would do well to read his “1984”. If you are a thinking person, you will find it enlightening. 4) Dr. Paul is a Protestant. They are not fundamentalists. There are many progressive people among all religions, even fundamentals. Of course, most progressives leave those faiths, but they have a right to do so. Just as a fundamentalist has a right to believe as they choose. THAT, is one of the guarantees we enjoy under The Bill of Rights. I suggest you read it and the Constitution you will find them even more enlightening than George Orwell’s “1984“.5) I’m not sure if obscurationism is a word. Actually, I’m sure it isn’t. As an alternative, I offer obfuscation. Perusing the dictionary won’t do you any harm either. I do beg to differ though. Dr. Paul is the ONLY candidate that can stand on his record. He has held true to the Constitution on every vote he has cast. His colleagues, Democrat and Republican alike, ALL state he’s THE MOST PRINCIPLED man in Congress. He doesn’t change his views to suit the audience. He is ‘an open book‘. I’ll leave you to research his record for yourself. May I point you to Thomas.gov? It’s the Internet portal to ‘all things government’ at The Library of Congress.6) I disagree with “retrograde and backward worldview“, as well. First, you’ve been brainwashed. You need to examine what he suggests more closely. Second, he is not an isolationist either. His position is non-intervention. Kind of like the “prime directive” on “Star Treck“, if that helps. While you’re reading the Constitution, etc…, which you can also do on Thomas.gov, get yourself a little context by looking up what the Founders said about central banking (The Federal Reserve System), and foreign entanglements. If you do, you will find everything they warned would destroy our country is happening today. Sadly, with the exception of Dr. Paul, I have more faith in the integrity and wisdom of our Founders than has been exhibited by ANY representative today. EVERY candidate, except Dr. Paul, is saying THE SAME THING POLITICO’S HAVE BEEN SAYING FOR THE LAST 100 YEARS. They all use different words to make it SOUND like you have multiple choices, but the song and the choice is the same. “Follow me; I know better than you, I can fix it all.” They say whatever THEY think YOU want to hear. When they get in, they do what THEY want. They are Judas goats, young lady; don’t let them lead you to the slaughter! This is sound foreign policy that served us well from 1776 to 1913, when PRIVATE BANKING INTERESTS hijacked our country and began a campaign to manipulate world affairs to their advantage through us. If we returned to developing friendships around the world through diplomacy as we once did, there would be much more PEACE and less WAR worldwide, saving lives everywhere. On top of that, we would SAVE HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS A YEAR! 6) Since 1913, when PRIVATE BANKERS hoodwinked the public with ‘BOUGHT AND PAID FOR’ newspapers and politicians, the dollar has steadily and consistently DECLINED in value. I suggest two videos to bring you up to snuff on this, “The Money Masters” and “America: From Freedom to Fascism”. Aren’t you glad I didn’t suggest a book? J You’re being robbed, dear, their propaganda machine is better today than it was when they stole the country. It’s gotten to the point politicians OPENLY speak of a “New World Order”. They have the WORLD convinced we need it to have peace. If that works out as well as their manipulation of our economy has, LOOK OUT!! They can only continue IF WE LET THEM.7) I don’t know what deportation program of which you speak. Dr. Paul supports repealing “birthright” citizenship and a halt to providing social programs to ILLEGAL aliens. He does so to remove the INCENTIVES that encourage illegal immigration. He expects, as I do, if employers are held accountable for hiring ILLEGAL aliens, if the children born here of illegal alien parents ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY CITIZENS, if we don’t give free health care, housing supplements, welfare, Social Security and if their children don’t have a right to go to public schools, the only people that WILL come here as aliens, will be people that wish to come legally and WANT TO BE FREE AND INDEPENDENT AMERICANS, like my own great-grandparents. He believes, again as I do, we won’t spend a dime on deportation because they will leave on their own. Additionally, WE WILL SAVE the MILLIONS of dollars we are now spending for the aforementioned social programs. As to deaths, ANY alien who seeks AND IS GRANTED ASSYLUM IS NOT ILLEGAL. Since I don’t know you I don’t know in what other areas, you may be misinformed. I hope I have clarified the above issues for you because a vote FOR Dr. Paul is a vote for AMERICA and ALL THE PRINCIPLES THAT MADE THIS COUNTRYTHE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!
