Damn.. I made it all the way to the end and got Kevin Rose down to less than 10000 diggs before he killed me. I think I could've won if I had saved a Kevin Rose Bud for that last stage. There is really no point in retrying, as can't beat him with the standard gun. IPOD MIRROR COLBERT
Rose is easy if you start maxed out with a rose bomb. Collect everything he drops when you hit him with the bomb, and chances are you'll get an iPod shield, background merge, and/or duggmirror, not to mention another rose bomb and three f-bombs. Then, just rinse and repeat.
For an next version, there should be an "lives" system, health power-ups, a history and a "flashback" version, an old DiggKiller, for the PCs that are slow. Ah, and the ship could be smaller too.
It took me until just now to see how the people with the high scores legitimately got them.THE POSITIVE COMMENT THAT COMES OUT OF THE BEER BOTTLE KEVIN THROWS ADDS 5,000 DIGGS TO YOUR SCORE.If you're good at dodging what Kevin's attacks, you can just constantly collect those comments. Survive long enough to collect 200 of them, and you've got the new high score. Originally, I thought the top scorers were cheating. Now I realize they're just damn good.Also, it seems that adding every single trigger comment no longer works. I never seem to get more than one power-up from a comment, even from the ones who would have spammed it on the actual story the final boss is linked to.
