"How long would it take 50 dogs named "Digger" at 50 computers to submit the exact same set of stories that Digg users have already submitted? "Depends if their surnames were "Babyman" and they had a huge crowd of stupid other dogs that would automatically digg up their submissions without reading them (or even the story title).

since this is california, there's a fair chance that the owners called their pooches Digger in reference to the Diggers of 60s SF <a class="user" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diggers_(theater)">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diggers_(theater)</a> or even the original English Diggers <a class="user" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diggers">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diggers</a> .... although of course both groups and the current incarnation of the Digger name were based on principles of community-action so mebbe it's all one n the same after all..
