gigaom.com — Ma Bell seems to be acting like the big brother. Apparently, AT&T censored parts of Pearl Jam’s performance over the weekend. Rock band was performing as part of Lollapalooza. AT&T blamed the censorship on an aggressive content monitor.

Well, at least this unfortunate event happened to a band that can hold their own against BS like this.BTW - My sis and I were both watching the webcast and IMed each other at the same time about how fishy the audio cutout was... who knew...

I'm watching the whole video, uncensored, on my iPhone right now. Long live the Jam.

Actually Iggy Pop and Patty Smith both played Lollapalooza this year so I guess they were engaged in a corporate relationship with AT&T as well?

Their new s**t is pretty weak (aside from "World Wide Suicide" and "Comatose"). "Jeremy" is a classic and one of my favorite songs of theirs. Yes, I'm disappointed that they didn't do it, especially since they do it on a regular basis.

At&t has a complete monopoly in my city of Mesquite Tx.. At&t and their deal with homeland security sucks as well. I just came on here to say that AT& T sucks fat greasy donkey dicks and they should be broken up . They have about the s**tiest customer service and service all together.
