I have never eaten junk food, and I don't drink soda. I have always been on a low sugar, low carb diet. It can happen to any of us.
This is as weird as some of the studies linking Diabetes to light exposure (see PhotoperiodEffect.com) but it has the virtue of being a quicker and more convenient treatment, perhaps, than a lifestyle change (like turning off the lights more often and making it darker when you sleep).As for diabetes not being horrible, watch a friend die of it, even overdosed on morphine, and then tell me it's no biggee.
