I guess the Libs now know how it feels -They did much worse to the last congress when they where in the minority, the birds are finally coming home to roost. I am glad the "Wimpy" Republicans finally grew some (You know what) to play the game the Dems have for years. Before that they were scared of being called "Mean-Spirited", Partisan Etc.

The only way to 'pay for' a tax cut is to 'raise taxes' on someone else. Dems can't seem to understand that money in our pockets is good for the economy, and that redistribution punishes the hardest working citizens.What's wrong with a reduction in social spending? I don't understand what Congress is having a hard time understanding here. If I need to come up with an extra $500 to pay for a plumber, I need to take it out of somewhere else. I don't go to my boss and say "You need to give me $500 more so I can pay for this". They're going to lose 50 Billion dollars in revenue because they're fixing a stupid program that was broken the minute they passed it. Oh well. I bet you could make up the loss if you just stopped giving illegal aliens benefits and let all the non-violent drug offenders out of prison.

I'm with Americaindanger!I rather like the idea of a deadlock!Its moments like these when I really feel my tax dollar is maximized.It means they both sides lack the skills and communication ability to sell ideas to the heart and minds of their opponents.Just as long as both sides and their assistants stay and get the job done ?>>>>BEFORE..... they go home to celebrate the birth of Jesus!
