I agree with you completely.BushCo regards the 'the people' as irrelevant - except when it comes to military service, cheap labor, and a steady source for money. They also :- treat the Constitution like some sort of amusing but antiquated document- the White House like their own private board room - and the 'law of the land' as mere lint on their sleeves - a nuisance to be brushed off.
"Demonizing the Iranian president and making his visit to New York seem controversial are all part of the neoconservative push for yet another war."Are liberals demonizing him any less than conservatives?
I fear that war shall come no matter what we do. And I and many people will have to fight them whether we like it or not. There a lot of money to be had for the elites and we are all pawns here. The election of George W Bush may be marked as the turning point in the downfall of America as we know it. I hope I am wrong. Damn politicians, we should be fighting them tooth and nail right on their doorsteps... but Monday Night Football and American Idol is on.
To those who really want to know what the iranian government is telling their people there is program on linktv called mosaic. It has the english language broadcast of the islamic republic news spokesperson. They do not cover controversial subjects like the riots after gas rationing or the student uprisings or the successful Kurdish attacks on the Republican Guard units in the North.
