washingtontimes.com — We all knew that. The problem is the inner city types don't and still vote for them. Why because they believe those super rich when they tell them to do without or with less. All the while Gore, Edwards, Kennedy all live the fancy life, they want us to cut back and do with less.

The hypocrisy of the democrat rich is an amazing thing to behold. While Gore, Edwards and their ilk all live in mansions, using far more resources than the rest of us, they preach that we should cut back and do without. The hypocrisy is amazing. While Kennedy makes speeches about alternate energy, the Kennedy's en mass fight to keep the electrical wind turbines out of their sight. Never mind they would be placed in an area where they would take no farmland out of production or land away from housing. They merely insult the Kennedy view. The hypocrisy!

"Tax us tax us (but leave our loopholes in place)" -- isn't that the old democratic mantra?

Idiot. Bush won every recount. Get over it.

Reminds me about an interesting fact. While Al Gore consumes $35,000 a year in energy in his 35-room mansion in Tennessee, George Bush's house in Crawford, Texas is a model of efficiency, using recycled water and passive solar heating, and is around 3,000 square feet in size. Funny how everyone thinks Bush is an oil fiend and that AlGore is out to help us become earth stewards.

There have always been more millionaire congressmen in the Democratic party than Republican. But here is the twist most people don't get: The wealthy mindset makes them believe part of their DUTY is to help the rest of us. They know what is best for us. They are smarter and know exactly what we need. We need their government hand-outs and social welfare programs and their wisdom. That is why the last part of the article shows that the wealthiest districts are the most likely to elect a Democrat. The rest of America needs the help of the wealthy.

Typical hypocrisy by the dems. They are elitists and want to put up road blocks in your way to the American Dream! They tax success and achievement! Keep that in mind when you vote people!!!!

If they REALLY thought it was their duty they'd live a modest lifestyle and give their spoils to charitable organizations. I don't see Teddy Kennedy funding anything but his idiot son's drug habit.

@ ZMB . . . if you expect to see consistency, much less logic or intelligence, from the PC crowd your grandchildren's granchildren will be living on Mars before this happens. You must try to ignore their foolishness, pass them their Kool-Aid, and go about your business.

@ rheaume . . . and you, sir, provide a superb example of the tightly-reasoned, thought-provoking arguments advanced by the leftists . . . which is why productive people hold these views in such high regard. You may now return to the Kool-Aid bong.
