engadget.com — Great monitor for great price. Even bests the 2007WFP with a 5ms response time, compared to the latter's 16ms, but the best news comes in the form of the spankin' $289 pricetag, which compares quite favorably to the 2007WFP's $529 MSRP, or even its $400-ish Froogle price.

Why? This product is not that great of a deal. Do some research before buying. Here is a monitor that is much better than that Dell and cheaper as well.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824014105

Because 1080P is 1920x1080, not 1600x1080.You're going to add 30 pixels on one direction and still be 320 short on the other? What's the point?

@dbalaskiyeah since E207WFP is the same monitor. f**king read dude.

Too bad its dell.If you're a casual pc user (and i doubt many diggers are), and you dont spend much time on your computer, heck, go ahead and buy it before they run out!But if you're a gamer or if you like to watch movies or videos or if you use your computer alot or if you hate dead pixels and low quality screens, then stay away and look on newegg!

Your very right. In fact, the Apple 20" (M9177) and the Dell 2005FPW, 2007WFP have the same LG LCD panel in them. The dell has more input options (which means more electronics on the inside) and the Apple casing (most will say) looks better. Price point:Apple M9177 - $699.00 US Dollars from Apple Online StoreDell 2007WFP - $359.20 US Dollars from Dell's online storeI'm not telling you to go with either and I currently dint know the panel that's in this new dell. Go with what you like and see not the name. Read reviews and see what works for you. We can argue all day that this is "dell crap" but nobody has been using this extensively to review it so...lets just hold out. It IS an impressive price point...but a low price isn't always everything!

Damn it! The UK price sucks!!!!! $289 or £272! What sort of exchange rate is that? Edit: OMG the USD price is now down to $260. Why are Dell fleecing UK customers so bad?See http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=uk&l=en&cs=ukdhs1&sku=78642
