"Why would anyone want to switch to something as uselessly excessive as this?"It's not meant to replace your keyboard, but to compliment it (hence only coming with 25 keys).

I'd seen reviews on this keyboard months and months ago. It got surprisingly very good reviews (for gaming).

Since i already have one, i did not read the article, but most of the commenter's are completely confused. THIS IS NOT A KEYBOARD REPLACEMENT. This is meant for gaming, or anything similar to that nature. Personally i use if for World of Warcraft, and its amazing, thought i had to buy the extra keys (26-50). Everything advertised is completely true. It comes with a ton of pre-printed stickers, and an entire sheet of blank stickers as well. You can move the keys anywhere, you want on the pad, and you can assign any macro you like to each key, (including mouse clicks) One of my keys types in my Login for WoW, hits "tab" (to get to the password entry), then types in my 14 char. password. You can set the macros to type instantly, or at the speed recorded, or modify any part of it on a timeline in the program. I have 5 keys along the top that presses my Winamp keys while in game. You can set worldwide macros, that work in any program, and have other keys change to a different macro with every program that is in front. So far, the only downfall (if you can afford the 150-200 bucks) i see to the DX1 is that you start to rely on it and it is hard to be without if you play somewhere else without one. My friend, who has the money to spend, bought a second set of keys and the plastic to attach them too. He can now switch between 2 different setups in a snap. The program is even very easy and intuitive to use... I know that was a lot of rambling, but that's how much I have begun to rely on my DX1.Those of you that follow WoW, remember the guy that got banned for using some logitech keyboard... Well, you'll have to be careful with this thing becasue its a lot more powerful of a tool.
