theregister.co.uk — "I think we can finally put a certain myth to rest that's been circling around the web for a while now. Microsoft often claimed that netbooks running Linux saw higher return rates than those running Windows, but according to Dell, this is utter nonsense."

That's also all a netbook really can do. Ever try playing any games on a netbook? Even with nvidia ion? It's not a pretty sight.

Vista is different too. If they want the same old OS they are used to, they need to stick with Windows 95.

@Rikkochet"I'm creeped out at how much personal information you provide on a whim."Unlike most of the retarded population of this country, I don't believe all the FUD that is propagated by FOX and similar sources that capitalize on creating fear in people. I'm not particularly afraid of identity theft or "hackers" as I know how to and am comfortable with securing my own systems and networks and watching my credit record.

@rangah"You're an idiot if you think it's impossible for software to be the reason"I never said it was impossible, just that it seems statistically unlikely from my own experience. I used the word "impossible" in another example about dealing with middle-aged idiots in a technical support capacity in high school.Obviously, you are the idiot.
