gamelemons.com — Another year has come and gone, and I am still amazed at just how dumbed-down Spike TV makes their VGA shows. Who the hell produces these shows anyway? After enduring that train wreck, I am convinced that marketers and companies have no clue who their target market is when it comes to gamers.

If they hired a couple of your average IRC or message board video game junkie they could have made the show quite good. I think anyone who PLAYS GAMES could have made it better.I thought it might be interesting but I turned it on just as tony hawk got onto the stage and said "all your base are belong to us". I then turned it off and shuddered.

Still waiting for G4 to implode.. not sure how it's been doing limping along all this time. Pretty sure the game companies that put up the most $$$ as long as there game is not obviously bad, end up winning or get the nominated.

I hear you and I am in no way disrespecting the songs on Scarface at all. That is a nice combination of excellent tracks. gametrailers could do a much better job than spike TV with VGA's.I mean they could have at lease explained why they nominated some games over other instead of filling the time with advertisement. o and most addictive game fueled by dew my ass wth kind of a category is that.
