darwine.opendarwin.org— Although its still in its alpha stage and very buggy, this could be a promising app for any Mac user.

I've been waiting for a direct port of Wine to OS X (Virtual PC costs too much). I love Wine in Linux - but I feel so lame. The first programs I ported over were (sigh) Paint, Solitaire, and Minesweeper. And I thought I was only gonna use Linux to be productive...
Um, you can't exactly run executables. You have to recompile them for Darwine. Unless your a developer this isn't even worth a download, yet. Well if you really love Mines then maybe you should get it.
I didn't have to pay for virtual PC, the college I goto has it as a free download on their software distro sight for the students. And friends of the students ;)
This is pretty old news. I found the Darwine site a few months ago and tried to use it, but it requires an X11 environment to run and it does not run any apps, except those that came with it (i.e., Mines). I can't wait till it goes into beta and is useful to normal users that just want to play GTA on their laptop! :D
